Requests for Visa Support Letters

It is the travelers responsibility to check and confirm current visa requirements to enter United Kingdom. You may check with the UK Border Agency whether you need a visa and how to obtain one if necessary.

For security purposes, the conference has policy for issuing official Visa Support Letters as follows:

Visa Support Letters will be issued only after you have successfully registered and paid for your conference.
Visa Support Letters can only be issued for the person accepted to attend the conference. Unfortunately we cannot issue Visa Support Letters for guests of participants.

Visa Support Letters will be issued via email in PDF format. Please contact the Conference Secretary at icslt@chairmen.org to arrange for a Visa Support Letter. You must include:

Your name as appears on your passport
Your Date of Birth
Your Passport Number
Passport Date of Issue
Passport Date of Expiry
And, if you are an author of an accepted paper or poster, please provide the title.

Note: Obtaining a Visa Support Letter from the conference will not guarantee that your U.K. visa application will be approved. The letter is merely supplementary information that explains a visa applicant's intended purpose of travel to United Kingdom.

 

ICSLT Invitation Letter

A Letter of Invitation is a proof that your paper submission and registration application are accepted by the conference committee board. It perhaps could help with your visa application. However, it does not guarantee you a visa. The invitation leter will be issued ONLY after you have registered and full payment has been received. Rejection of visa application cannot be the reason to require fee refund.

1. The invitation letter will be issued after the successful registration.

2. Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.

3. Please note ICSLT Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference are not authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Notification of Invitation Letter issued by ICSLT Conferences and conference Committee Board. Should your application be denied, ICSLT Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will ICSLT Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference engage in discussion or correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied.

4. It takes around one month for the Embassy to process the VISA application, please register as early as you can to make sure you have enough time.
